What campers will take away:

Campers will leave with a better understanding how to defend themselves both physically as well verbally in the situation as parents we never want to think of. Also for those wrestlers attending they will have the opportunity to learn from former state champion wrestlers, college wrestlers as well learn from one another.

Jorge Gurgel 

 

Jorge Valente Gurgel born January 25, 1977 in Fortaleza, Brazili is a Brazilian Mixed Martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner who formerly fought for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and last fought for Strikeforce until it ceased operations. Gurgel is a former Absolute Combat Challenge Lightweight Champion.

 

He has coached 2 world champions: Former UFC Champion Rich Franklin and Former Bellator Champion Zoila Gurgel. 

 

Gurgel is a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who is the trainer of former UFC middleweight champion Rich Franklin and UFC veteran Dustin Hazelett at his school JG MMA and Fitness academy in Ohio. professor Gurgel is the head trainer for numerous UFC, Bellator, strike force as well countless Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament medalist all over the country. JGMMA academy was franked in the top 20 in the entire country by fight magazine. Jorge is one of the be and elite trainers out there.

Rob Nickerson

 

Rob is currently the Owner/Head coach of Reaction MMA. The Reaction MMA fight team has compiled a 94-25 win lose record in the 6 yrs the academy has been in existence. Rob has coached multiple amateur champions, current professional  King of the Cage crusier weight champion Wes Combs, whom also is a former UFC fighter. with Former Bellator fighter Josh Clark and current M-1 fighter Julio Gallegos who has fought all over the globe. With many more talented amateur as well professionals calling Reaction MMA home and Rob Nickerson their coach. All of this knowledge and experience with be available in Nov. As many of these athletes will be in attendance.
