Tyler McKinley is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio. Starting his young basketball career at Friars Club, Tyler has been able to travel the country playing the game that he loves at a very high level. Tyler started his high school basketball career at Walnut Hills High School where he averaged 10.7pts and 6.5rebs his freshman year making First Team All ECC honors and following that performance averaging 17.2pts and 7.4rebs his sophomore year as an eagle earning First Team All ECC honors again, ECC Player of the Year, Division 1 First Team & Division 1 Player of the Year. He is currently spending his junior year in Branson, MO where he is playing for the Top 5 nationally ranked Link Academy Lions.

Tyler has played on the Nike EYBL circuit the last two seasons with All Ohio Red Basketball Program leading the circuit last year in scoring (24.6) and was top 5 in rebounding before moving up to play on the U17 team for Peach Jam. Invited to the USA U17 training camp last June at the Olympic Training Facility in Colorado Springs, Tyler was a finalist for the team traveling to Spain to represent our country and compete in the FIBA Cup. Tyler is currently a 4-star athlete, he is ranked as a Top 50 basketball prospect on all HS ranking websites, and he currently holds 15+ offers to play basketball at the collegiate level. 

Being a good player only scratches the surface for Tyler. He prides himself on BEING COACHABLE, his versatility on the court which he has put in countless hours constantly trying to perfect, making sure his teammates are involved and put in the best possible situations every single game, and HAVING FUN every time he steps out on the floor. 

We are looking forward to having your young student athlete learn from Tyler and the amazing village that has helped Tyler become the athlete that he is today.
